We delayed our departure to give Kim time to recover from her illness. On Thursday of last week, she was diagnosed with pneumonia and started an aggressive treatment. Today we went to the doctor to see if it would be safe for her to fly tomorrow. We thought we already knew the answer, but wanted to hear what the doctor had to say. She is improving, but she is not well. The doctor said she needed to give it a few more weeks for recovery.
Tim will be departing tomorrow as planned. He needs to take care of a visa issue that can’t be delayed any longer. Please pray for him as he travels and for Kim as she stays behind. Please pray that Kim will continue to improve without any setbacks. Thank you for your prayers and concern for us.

Hi Kim- So sorry to hear that you’re still sick. Even though you want to fly back with Tim, it’s probably best that you rest up, heal & regain your strength. Your body knows that it’s been through a lot these past several months. I, too remember being quite sick for about 3months after my dad passed. Are you with family & friends? Are you able to stay with one of your kids? So wonderful to have adult children who care about you. Please know that I’m praying for your full recovery. Also praying for safe travels for Tim as he flys back tomorrow.Praying for you!Raeann
